Extravagantly bound and gilded Bible is full of wonderful woodcut illustrations and historical information. Measures approximately 12 1/2" tall, 10 1/2" wide and 4" deep and has well over 1000 pages! Useful as a study guide back in the day of its publication to the present, it has survived the 140 years well!
Binding is sound. Wear to leather on corners and edges of spine. Front page loose at top. Brown age spots on pages towards the front, and some markings on 2-3 pages. One onion-skin page protecting a print is torn at top (photo 20)
