This item in my EBAY store is an EAPG CLEAR "BIRD and STRAWBERRY" HIGH STANDARD RUFFLED FTD. OPEN COMPOTE. This Early American Pattern Glass clear "BIRD & STRAWBERRY" high standard ruffled ftd. open compote is in good condition having NO chips, cracks and no scratches; I want to mention that there is light so called sick glass staining under neath this ftd. compote, because of this beautiful pattern I've decided to lise of this beautiful pattern sometimes we have to accept things the way they are, I have not tried to clean this compoteso any questions at all please e-mail me; I also want to mention that this "BIRD & STRAWBERRY" high standard ruffled ftd. open compote that I have here does have the Early American Pattern Glass characteristics of the EAPG glass making process having stress marks, straw marks and sometimes air bubbles can be seen inside the glass of Early American Pattern Glass, these characteristics I just mentioned to you are and can be seen in the glass of this "BIRD & STRAWBERRY" high standard ruffled ft. open compote that I have here, these characteristics are from the production of this American beauty and is NOT consided damage, again any questions at all please e-mail me; I've taken numerous photos of the jagged serrated edge around the bottom and also the ruffled top showing no damage, again any questions at all please e-mail me; This "BIRD & STRAWBERRY" Early American Pattern Glass pattern is non-flint glass having many numerous table ware items produced in this "BIRD & STRAWBERRY" highly collected pattern that was produced by the "Indiana Glass Company out of Dunkirk, Indiana around 1914"; This "BIRD & STRAWBERRY" collected pattern can be seen in one of my many reference materials, one by "Reilly & Jenks" the book "EARLY AMERICAN PATTERN GLASS COLLECTOR'S IDENTIFICATION & PRICE GUIDE" show and talk about the many numerous table ware items produced in this "BIRD & STRAWBERRY" large and highly collected pattern on pages #64 - #66; Numerous (all) photos were taken outside in natural daylight in different backgrounds in numerous angles and positions to show "BIRD & STRAWBERRY" pattern, condition, glass clarity and size hoping to answer any and all questions but if need you can E-mail me or you can see me on my NEW web site at terrymackeyantiques.com.
