Fantastic Woodie Wayfarers from a long time ago. I purchased these USA made B&Ls (along with quite a few other pairs...Woodies, Solids, etc) in 1991 in Austin, TX from a co-worker and her husband who had old inventory left over from their failed sporting goods store that went under in the mid 1980's. Like an idiot I removed all the tags, but this pair has never been worn. The black soft B&L case is ORIGINAL as well, but the fuzz on the inside is breaking down as you might expect from a nearly 40 year old soft case. These B&Ls are like new with only the tiniest hairline scratch on the right lens. So small that I don't think you can detect in the pics, even though I tried. The hairline scratch does NOT affect viewing in any way. Impossible to see from the point of view of whoever is wearing the glasses. As stated, these are the ORIGINAL, GENUINE article as proven by the "B&L 5022" stamp on the inside of the frame (see pic) as well as "B&L Ray-Ban USA" and "WAYFARER" stamped on the inside of the temple arms. If you are considering a pair of vintage USA made B&L Tiki Woodies from the 80's, they must have these described markings (and should have the original soft black case) to ensure their 100% B&L authenticity.
