About this vehicle

This is a 1978 Jeep J-10 pickup. It is mostly stock with the exception of the engine being converted to a 350 Chevy.

Vehicle Details

Relisted due to scammers ending my listing earlier. The Jeep runs and drives great. It doesn’t leak a drop of oil from Engine or Transmission. It does have a leak at the power steering pump that should be addressed with either new seals, or frankly for the the cheap cost of a whole new pump, just a new pump. The interior is in very good shape with the exception of cracking on the dash top speaker grill (this is very common). The truck cruises around town and at highway speeds effortlessly, I’ve had it to 75mph and it was stable with no bad behaviors. It still has the factory radio in the dash and it even works, but I added a standalone Bluetooth system with speakers behind the seats so you can listen to tunes from your phone. I also urchased all new window seals and channels for both doors but never got a chance to install them they will come with the sale of the truck.

It has some small areas of rust/ bubbling in the usual locations, but is far better than most and still shows well. It looks to have been repainted at some point in its factory colors.

I’ve taken this to a couple car shows and it’s a crowd favorite. Everyone seems to love the color scheme and the stock wheels. I really like the truck but have a couple project vehicles in the queue and simply don’t have time for it.

What it needs: As mentioned above, power steering pump should be resealed or replaced. It works just fine but leaks. The tires have good tread but are old and should be replaced at some point in the near future if you plan on highway excursions. The windows seals should be replaced (new parts are included). Transfer case fluid should be drained and replaced, I just haven’t gotten to it.

Buyer is responsible for any and all shipping arrangements and charges. I will work with your selected carrier to support vehicle pickup.
