This antique wooden head shaped hat / wig block which is a wonderful dark brown colour has accumulated lots of wear over the years giving it a stunning patina.
This milliner's wooden hat block which is a large size is marked to the front with the number 62 and would have originally been used to make and shape hats or wigs.
Today this would make a wonderful decorative display piece and would be ideal for displaying hats, wigs and other headwear.

Condition: Wonderful decorative antique condition with signs of use in keeping with age. The usual pin holes, splits, cracks and lots of age related wear leaving a wonderful patina and look. No woodworm. Please see pictures.
