ATTENTION AUDIOPHILES:  Up for sale is a lot of five (5) Polart annual publications (1960 through 1964) which are comprehensive Indices to the record (and tape) reviews that appeared in multiple different prominent magazines.  I know of no other copies of these booklets for sale.  [PLEASE NOTE:  These booklets are Indices that give the location (months and page numbers) of record (and tape) reviews that are located in the regular monthly issues of the other periodicals.  The Indices I am selling do NOT contain any record reviews themselves.]

These booklets were copyrighted by Polart, which was located at 20115 Goulburn Avenue, Detroit 5, Michigan.  Each one was copyrighted in the year after the year covered by the Index.  (For example, the 1960 Index was copyrighted in 1961, etc.)

The emphasis is on classical music but there are also sections for Pop and Jazz, soundtracks, and miscellaneous genres.

The five Indices from Polart contain citations of reviews found in several periodicals, each of which is given a letter abbreviation (as follows).  Not all periodicals were included in every Index.  I have listed which years are included, next to each of the abbreviations below.  (The same information is contained in photos # 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 of this listing.)
