Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan ......An uncommon, 1907 issued art and photo postcard with an image of Admiral Heihachiro Togo and scene at the historic Yasukuni Shinto shrine ...issued for the 1907 Rinjitaisai, Grand Festival ......*In May of 1907 the 33rd Gōshisai was conducted which commemorated the 24,657   newly enshrined who died in  military service to Japan, (most) remains brought back from the Russo-Japan War battlefields in China and Korea.

Located in Chiyoda, Tokyo, Yasukuni Shrine was founded by Emperor Meiji in June 1869 and commemorates those who died in service of Japan from the Boshin War of 1868–1869 through the Pacific, Indochine wars c.1930's-1940's.
