For sale is a set of silvery color cufflinks. Sadly my parents in law passed away a little while ago and we inherited so many things - among them a lot of cufflinks and pins , etc. Vintage for sure but beyond that I have no idea. Probably mid 20th century but could be earlier or a bit later as well. The set here is signed Shields for Shields Fifth Avenue which was a store located in New York during the 1940s-1960s. They only carried their own exclusive ‘high end’ jewelry designs. The business closed in the late 1960s. So these are definitely vintage! This set here has a nice shape to is, is silver in color with the center being matte with a shiny "frame" around it and a central shiny stone. Crystal or something along those lines I assume but I have no idea. The back part swivels so it aligns with the metal bar going from the front piece to get it through the button holes and then swivels to a 90 degree angle to stay put. You know the usual thing with cufflinks. The top pieces are about 0.75 inches wide, 0.625 inches high and 0.125 inches thick. The set is in great condition with some age marks / minor wear since they are older and have been used. I think they are in great shape and look amazing but I am no expert at all so ask questions. I do offer a proper return policy if I buggered this up royally but I try to be super honest as you can see with my feedback! No markings on them at all. I have a flat rate shipping cost to make it easier but will certainly refund if the actual cost is lower! I'll combine shipping wherever possible.
