I believe this sold for about $1350 when new, got really good reviews at the time but it has not been in production for a long time.

I bought this in need of repair. Replaced some of the input terminals, 4 large power supply capacitors and output transistors in one channel.

Problems I noted are one of the bottom feet is missing the rubber insert and it won't sit flat unless something is wedged under that foot. Volume control is not perfectly centered and you can feel it rubbing during part of its rotation since the clearance between the knob and chassis opening is not very much. Input #2 does not seem to be working, may be one of the small switching relays in each channel but I have not investigated it. Tube should be replaced because of bad microphonics, you can hear it in the speaker outputs when you tap on the chassis. May be other issues that I don't know about but that is all I was able to uncover over the weeks I used this piece.

One of the things I don't like is the startup sequence, various relays switch about a half dozen times, volume takes about 5 seconds as the motor runs to zero volume (even if its at 0 volume). Its always the same sequence, seems like a pre-programmed sequence that could use some software tuning!

The sound is not low budget, this is really a cut above average however its one of those pieces that must be on for a few minutes before the sound starts to bloom, has an almost euphonic quality.

Since the tube is getting noisy I'm not 100% sure it will survive shipping without getting worse. Will be shipped via FedEx ground. Remember this is not perfect and will require some work SOLD ASIS as in need of repair without returns. Please see the photos, cosmetics are OK but not great also the unit DOES NOT COME WITH A REMOTE CONTROL!
