This listing is for a divided back postcard put out by New Zealand to honor the arrival of the Great White Fleet in that country. There is a vignette of Admiral Sperry along with officials of New Zealand at that time: the governor, the mayor of Auckland, the premier, and Hon. Mahuta. There is an advertisement on the back for Roslyn Unshrinkable All-Wool Underwear. It was mailed from Chicago but has a New Zealand stamp. This is a very attractive and unusual postcard.

A very nice card but does have some edge and corner wear and cancel marks on the left side of the image.
