1994 Masterpieces in Silver Proof Coin Set Explorers II - Damaged Case

Purity: 92.5% Weight: 178.95g Nett: 5.32ozt

This is a great opportunity to pick up some large and scarce silver proof coins.

The Royal Mint first released a Masterpieces in Silver set in 1988 to mark Australia's Bicentennial year, each of the new commemorative coins issued that year were produced in proof silver.

The Masterpieces in Silver series became so popular it is still issued today, largely due to the unique beauty and appeal of the coins when struck in silver.

The 1994 Masterpieces in Silver set included five one ounce silver coins, each coin honoring the earliest pioneers of the Australian continent. There's also a great deal of historical information to be found on the certificate / brochure in the lid of the presentation case.

With so much silver in each set (five ounces to be precise), collectors still see them as being excellent value for money.

Special Note:

This set will either have a damaged or missing outer box. All of the coins, case and certificate are included and remain in excellent condition.
