Very early T & C Clark and Co. No.5, 5 pint gate marked Enameled bean pot. Patented in 1839. Logo written in English long hand. Cleaned and Seasoned.  No chips or cracks. Enamel inside the pot is crackled and stained for as with it's age. Nice Historical collectable cast iron pot.

Thomas and Charles started their factory in Wolverhampton, England in the late 1700s. Recieving a patent for their enameling process in 1839, using no arsenic or lead.
