These 10 political buttons and pins create a timeline of American history.

Here's the list:

1 & 2 - Let's Back Ike, and I Like Ike. 1952. Eisenhower was the first Republican President elected in 20 years. His Vice President was Richard Nixon.

3 - Kennedy for President. 1960. JFK only served two years, well we all know what happened :-(

4 - Goldwater and Miller. 1964. Goldwater was the Republican nominee for President but lost to incumbent LBJ.

5 - Humphrey for President. 1968. Presidential nominee who lost to Nixon.

6 - I Belong, How About You? McGovern Million Member Club. 1972. The Democratic nominee lost to the incumbent Nixon.

7 - Mondale / Ferraro. 1984. Democrat who lost to incumbent Reagan. Geraldine Ferraro was the first woman nominated for Vice President.

8 - Freeze Reagan/Bush in '84. A protest button against the GOP Convention in Dallas.

9 - 2001 National Republican Committee lapel pin.

10 - Impeach Bush; When Clinton Lied, Nobody Died button. 2004. Based around "Weapons of Mass Destruction" fiasco. 

All are original, except the "Peace, Progress, Prosperity, I Like Ike" button; it is a reproduction. All are in good age-related condition with some surface scratching. Please look at all pics closely.
