Seedling size: Small 4-5" tall seedlings as you can see with robust roots

Flava pastel is one of clones that everyone asks me about, and truthfully, there just isn't enough to go around. The last division I had available went for over $2000 here on ebay. Set the record at the time for a flava division! While there are several pieces floating around in collections, it's still a nearly impossible to get ahold of, and even then, you need some really deep pockets. Most of my rhizome goes towards seed production, and I will be registering the clone probably this fall. While it produces some amazing flava when crossed with other killer clones, it has been showing some crazy two toned and white lidded moorei in it's hybrid crosses. Expect more and more demand for Pastel as folks see just how powerful a breeder for both species and moorei this clone can be. It's going to be difficult to obtain for sure. 

That said, back in 2020 I didn't know all of this. I knew Pastel was a standout clone, with 32-34" pitchers with 6" lids. Opening up maxima and infusing to an orange unlike just about any other pure flava out there. Unique for sure. I made this seed mix to maximize the chances for killer crosses to prove out Pastel as a breeder. I did not sell much of these original cross seeds, but a lot of these crosses below are churning out some amazing new color variations of flava as they hit vegetative maturity for the few growers who got original seed. 

I never released 20-mix-13 seed or seedlings to the best of my knowledge, and sat on the seeds for a while before growing them out a few years ago. Last year I did a big uppot and these seedlings grew all last summer and a real dormancy in the GH this past winter. They are in active growth, not from under grow chamber lighting.

If you don't know of me, just know that my Sarracenia Flava collection is second to none. With over 700 location data clones, and another additional 7-800 adult flava (and tens of thousand of seedlings), I have an absolutely massive collection spanning over 2000sqft and multiple greenhouses. A virtual living library of flava varieties and locations. I also produce well over a thousand hand pollinated crosses a year (3000 in just the last 3 years). I do offer individual seed packets and seed blends after harvest, but first and foremost I produce all this seed for myself. Often, I will do a larger sowing and decide to only keep a few seedlings from a cross. I grow out hundreds of crosses a year, sometimes more, and often time replant older seed that I have stored to create more of a particular cross.
