This is a fantastic little booklet printed in 1955 for the Rhode Island state nurses association 50th anniversary. The book is dedicated to the nurses of Rhode Island who accepted and met the challenges of the past half century and who left their helpful imprints on the professional pass that all nurses must tread. The covers are gold foil and there purposefully crinkled as shown in the photos. This little book is illustrated with photographs. This book was owned by Laura Clapp Kelley, who was a major in the US Army nurses Corps during World War II and the Korean War. Her name is listed in the book.

Laura Clapp Kelley (Major. U.S. Army Nurse Corps, Retired), 94, died on June 19, 2003 at the Southington Care Center, Southington, Connecticut.
