Size: 1.25 by 2.0 inches.

This scroll is a miniature version of the Gohonzon known as OMAMORI or TALISMAN. It was issued during the tenure of the 66th High Priest of Nichiren Shoshu, Nittatsu Shonin. It comes with the original Silver case with neck chain.

Our understanding and research shows that these Omamori Talisman Gohonzon's were only given out to long time practicing members of the Buddhist Order. They are extremely very rare and scarce and very difficult to come by!!!   THEY ARE NO LONGER ISSUED as the 66th High Priest, Nittatsu passed away in 1979.

AGAIN, THESE ARE EXTREMELY RARE!

The 66th High Priest during his tenure did make a different version Omamori issued in a silver tube. The tube versions are extremely very rare in themselves, but these case issues versions are very rare and scarce as well. 

We are fortunate that we have a connection to an auction house in Japan where we came across this rare beauty! When these are available...YOU should not hesitate to GRAB IT!!!
