Here's a Canon SII with Serenar 3.5/5cm.
Serial number: 17927, made in the late 40's.
This is the second, "Canon Camera Company Ltd"-version of the SII, and it has a "Made in Occupied Japan"-engraving on the base plate.
Good condition, with signs of moderate to normal use, some pitting to the wind-on knob, but no dents
The covering is brittle and has partially faded, and there's a minor crack on the front.
Rangefinder is working well, and shutter is alive but sticky and irregular.
The scarce Serenar-lens (serial no: 9933) is in good condition, with some wear to the surface of the center tube.
The optics has some haze, dust/dirt and a few cleaning marks on front element.
Please have a look at my other auctions for more items, - I’d happily combine shipping costs.
Good luck!
