This small, softcover book’s full title is the “Lehigh Valley Railroad Air Brake Examination Questions and Answers for Enginemen, Firemen, Hostlers, Conductors, and Trainmen.”

In addition to questions and answers, the book is filled with numerous mechanical illustrations. The heart of the book is a series of 11 fold-out accordion plates on vellum-like paper illustrating the functioning of system.

The book is largely in Good condition, although the block of plates has detached from the book. This actually makes it easier to view and fold out the illustrations.
