Hardcover, 1881 printing of a boook first publsihed in 1859. . 12mo with ornately tooled dark blue cover, gilt decoration and lettering on the spine, gilt silhouette on the front cover, dark blue endpapers, 472 pages plus advertisements for other books by the publisher bound in at the end. This copy is in good minus condition. Text is lightly tanned and unmarked and has a few small stains and corner creases. Sewn binding is a bit loose, edges are soiled, and cover has frayed corners and edges and a 1” tear along the top of the spine.
