First paperback edition of Free and Easy, by June Wetherell (Popular Library, 1953). Originally published in 1947 as Run, Sheep Run, this novel tells the story of Pat Reed, a party girl who dates--and then drops--Ken Morrison while they're both in college. Years later, Pat decides she wants Ken after all, and the fact that both of them are now married to other people is not going to stand in her way. Described on the cover as a "turbulent novel of reckless youth," Free and Easy is a classic of mid-century pulp.

This book is in excellent condition, with a perfectly tight spine and no rips, tears, marks, or other major signs of wear.
