British Heavy metal pioneers Judas Priest released an album titled 'Killing Machine', in 1978. It really helped to put Priest on the map. Due to an American school shooting, the band and their label decided to change the title of the album for the North American release. 'Killing Machine' became 'Hell Bent For Leather'. Interesting note: that school shooting was committed by a 16 year old girl, and was the inspiration for the song "I Don't Like Mondays", by post-punk band the Boomtown Rats.

The cover stayed the same no matter what name it went by. The iconic artwork is featured today with a rare and scarce import picture disc LP! That metal milestone gave us the hits "Hell Bent For Leather", "Burnin' Up", "Take On the World", and "Evening Star". The entire album is great, and there's no filler or throwaway tracks on it!

The picture disc is a thick and heavy 180 gram vinyl in really good condition. I'm seeing a few light surface marks on both sides, but nothing that looks bad, at all. (I can't vouch for the sound quality, as I never play specialty vinyl such as pic discs or colored records.) But the colors are still bright, and this is overall clean and shiny. It comes in a generic and clear PVC jacket.

I'll also include a very cool 80s metal magazine! You'll get the April '86 issue of 'Hit Parader', with original Judas Priest guitarist K.K. Downing on the cover. Inside are pics of Priest, and an interesting article. This issue also features Dokken, Iron Maiden, Ratt, Black Sabbath, and others. In great shape for something that's pushing FORTY! The centerfold has come loose, but is still there, and still intact. (I'll let the buyer decide to re-staple or leave it loose.)

Judas Priest is currently on tour, and is showing no signs of stopping. Glenn Tipton hasn't been able to tour due to health reasons, but he continues to write and records with the band. K. K. has left, and is on his own, and even playing in a band called KK's Priest, with Tim "Ripper" Owens. Ripper took Rob Halford's place for a few years in Judas Priest, until Rob's return in 2003. So I guess it's pretty cool that they let K.K. and Ripper use the name KK's Priest!

Grab this really awesome piece of Judas Priest memorabilia, as it's ready to come home with you today. Available now, and at a nice price. Make a move soon, before someone else beats you to it!

"You got to leave your seat you gotta get up upon your feet

You're gonna move ya to the rhythm till you never can stop

We got the power we got the music and you bet that you can use it

We're gonna take rock-bottom we're gonna take it to the top

Put yourself in our hands so our voices can be heard

And together we will take on all the world!"
