For sale is an amazing plate made by KPM in the early 20th century . I have always wanted one of these and got lucky and got a whole set recently. The plate is hand painted with a fish design that covers the entire center including one large fish, three small fish and some seaweed. The rim has a nice raised design to it with the edge basket weave design painted in a yellow ground color with a gold trim to the edge and a really nice gold trim going into the plate. Has that Art Nouveau / Jugendstil feeling to it and is just an amazing plate! The piece is in great condition with small chip to the back rim which doesn't affect the plate from the front at all except for a very tiny spot on the very edge and it displays perfectly. The plate is 1.375 inches tall and 9.625 inches in diameter. It is marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter as well as the red orb mark and the usual impressed and painter's / gilder's marks.
