Belleek Pottery, County Fermanagh round flowered lily of the valley handled basket.

This was left to me by an American friend in the early 1980’s, and I am finally parting with it prior to downsizing house.

Dimensions: 11 inches diameter, 5 inches at highest point.

Two petals and a leaf tip missing (photo 8), and some discolouration to handle. I had this piece looked at by a valuer and he suggested that the handle had once been complete and the broken ends had been smoothed and somehow re-glazed. Still makes a great display piece and a good example of an early Belleek Basket.

To the base is a pad marked Belleek County Fermanagh on a four strand woven base dating to between 1863 and 1891.

Postage by 2-3 day tracked courier service. It will be VERY well packed!
