Description:  James Fenimore Cooper’s masterful adventures of the American frontier helped to create a uniquely American literature. Now, these great novels from the Leatherstocking Tales are available in an exclusive 5-volume set which is complete as Easton Press issued it (there are more books written by JFC, but not in this set which contains the most popular titles).

Condition:  One sealed, open are: Leather is bright with only light sign of any shelf wear.  Light marr to gilt page ends with a few marks.  There is an oval occlusion in the gilt design on the spine of Pathfinder toward the top.  It is certainly a minor manufacturer's flaw rather than a scuff or damage.  It is very clean and the leather is shiny underneath.  There was likely just that tiny spot of missing gilt when they went to apply that title placard design on the spine.  It looks fairly natural unless compared with another same title.  You likely won't think of it much.  If I acquire another of that title I may replace it in this set, or I may replace Last of Mohicans with a more worn copy I have and charge slightly less for the set as a whole.
