This item in my EBAY store is an EAPG CLEAR with ETCHING  "DAISY & BUTTON with PETTY COAT BAND"  COVERED BUTTER DISH.   This Early Canadian Pattern Glass clear with etching "DAISY & BUTTON with PETTY COAT BAND" covered butter dish is antique glass that has survived well over 100 years of survival and because of age has now become a beautiful family heirloom piece of Canadian glass;   This clear with etching "DAISY & BUTTON with PETTY COAT BAND" covered butter dish is the major piece of glass to the (4) piece table set (also known as the crown jewel) is in excellent condition having NO chips, cracks, scratches and no glass staining;   I may also add that this clear with etching  "DAISY & BUTTON with PETTY COAT BAND"  covered butter dish is an early vintage antique glass butter dish that has been used and displayed over many years and still remains in beautiful heirloom condition;   I've gone over and over this butter dish finding NO damage, the glass itself is clear, the top finial has NO damage and numerous photos shows the top finial, the butter base has NO damage on the scalloped "daisy" edge and there is NO roughness to the bottom top where the lid fits onto the base, photos also show this area and NO damage anywhere to the lid itself, I've taken numerous photos of the lid finial having NO roughness, any questions at all please e-mail me;   The glass itself is clear good quality glass, I will add that this Early Canadian Pattern Glass clear with etching "DAISY & BUTTON with PETTY COAT BAND" covered butter dish that I have here does have those Early American Pattern Glass characteristics of the EAPG glass making process having straw marks, stress marks and air bubbles are sometimes seen inside the glass of EAPG, these characteristics are and can be seen inside this Early Canadian Pattern Glass clear with etching "DAISY & BUTTON with PETTY COAT BAND" covered butter dish that is from being produced and is not considered damage, again any questions at all please e-mail me;  This Early Canadian Pattern Glass clear with etching "DAISY & BUTTON with PETTY COAT BAND" covered butter dish is non-flint glass having many numerous table ware items produced in this "DAISY & BUTTON with PETTY COAT BAND" pattern;   This "DAISY & BUTTON with PETTY COAT BAND" large and highly collected glass pattern was produced by the "Burlington Glass Works out of Canada around the "1880's", the only reference material I have that show and talk about this pattern is the American and Canadian Goblet book by "Doris and Peter Unitt" that shows a goblet on page #245;   Numerous (all) photos were taken outside in different backgrounds in numerous angles and positions to show the "DAISY & BUTTON with PETTY COAT BAND" pattern, condition, glass clarity and size hoping to answer any and all questions but if need be you can E-mail me or you can see me on my NEW web site at terrymackeyantiques.com.   When using a cell phone or mobile device please click on "see full description" to see more photos and measurements;   Insurance is bought at the USPS at the time of shipment to you, the cost of the shipping is $8.25 and the cost of insurance is $1.75, ANY OVER PAID SHIPPING COST WILL BE RETURNED TO YOU THE BUYER;   All stickers on MY EAPG clear with etching "DAISY & BUTTON with PETTY COAT BAND" covered butter dish sent to you must remain on MY EAPG clear with etching "DAISY & BUTTON with PETTY COAT BAND" covered butter dish for any glass return, NO exceptions!           Inventory #899A           12/5/2022            Bldg. lower level right side shelving.               Please read  my BIO on my NEW web site.            Will ship International mail when Buyer request shipping cost thru EBAY.
