Hi, I am Steve Pfeiffer, author of the book Collecting Case knives - Identification and Price Guide. I have been collecting, buying, and selling CASE and other brands of vintage and modern pocket knives since 1973.

I am offering some fine collectible pocket knives for sale. See my other auction listings for more collectible knives.

57 ACIER INOXYDABLE is the tang stamp.

This brand is unknown to me, but appears to be a French-made knife, high quality.

I believe that this knife dates to the 1940’s to 1960’s.

3-3/8” closed (plus bail). “Sportsman’s Utility Knife” pattern.

Nickel silver liners and nickel silver pins.

Stainless steel blades/tools.

Nice buffalo horn handles, great color, no cracks or damage.

All blades and tools have strong snap.

The main spear blade has noticeable side to side wobble.

The other five blades are each tight with no wobble.

Used and carried a bit, lightly sharpened.

The blades have the original finish, light patina, light scratches.

The spear and pen blades each have a tiny bend at the extreme tip.

The blades and backsprings have light handling rubs and scratches.

This is an older high quality knife – awesome quality – elegant design.

Sales to USA Locations Only - Buyer must be at least 18 years of age.

Some states have started requiring eBay to collect sales tax on items going to these states. eBay has a list of those states that have started collecting sales tax in 2019 on online purchases. This is nothing I have control over and the sales tax is automatically added to your total by eBay if you reside in one of these states.
