BRAND / MAKER / Description 💞😸😃: Vintage 13" LE Smith Oil Lamp Moss GREEN Moon-Stars Pattern Pressed Glass (wick & chimney), RARE mid century- Avid LESmith Collector Estate A very good-feeling weight, obvious Quality!! L. E. Smith Glass Company - Jeannette, Pennsylvania. The company was established in 1907 in Jeannette, PA and is known for producing the first headlight lens for the Model T Ford. In 1975 the company was purchased by Owens-Illinois, Inc. Smith was operated as a wholly-owned subsidiary. Smith bought many molds from Mckee in the 1950s including several "tec" patterns. They also bought molds from Imperial Glass when they closed in 1981. During the 1970s and 80s, Smith made various items in carnival glass treatments including plates, club souvenirs, novelties and bicentennial items. Their pieces are often marked with a Capital S with a smaller "G" in the top portion of the S and a smaller "C" in the bottom portion of the S.

AGE: Mid 20th Century, 1970s, 50+ years
CONDITION: Avid Fenton Collector Cherished, VINTAGE USED: Amazing LOOK & FEEL!! All bits are Quite good for age!! I tried to reflect its good condition in the photos and video. No major damage (NO breaks, cracks, missing parts), a few small time-related very fine, barely able to see dimples, hazy clear spots, barely there scritches/scrapes, but nothing that deters from its timeless elegance and beauty. (all vintage and antique items are selected for their above-average condition for their age).

This means any scratches, discolorations, or teeny bits missing --are ALL due to age and time on this Earth. Only pieces that have been loved and well cared for are listed!! But time does have a way of happening, and deterioration may occur. UNLESS kept in a china cabinet like many of my pieces.
