This is for a wonderful Mid Century Elephant hand crafted box. It is crafted from tightly woven thin wicker which is then lacquered. 

The elephant is actually a box with a lid that is the removable on his back and the inside is smoothly finished.

The eyes are another material other than wicker making them stand out as if he is watching you!
