This part has been in my parts drawer for at least 20 years. It's a Japan made tailpiece commonly used on hollowbody Japanese guitars made by Teisco and branded either Teisco, Jedson, Kent, Telestar, and more. It's in excellent condition. If you look closely you can see that it's basically ornamental instead of functional. Maybe you need a new one!!
