BLUE JEWEL cassette tape Musical Salutation World Fest 1997 University of Cinci This is “The Blue Jewel: A Musical Salutation,” an audio-cassette tape in its original, unopened shrink-wrapped packaging. It was issued for World Fest ‘97 at the University of Cincinnati. “The Blue Jewel” was a grand multi-media musical celebrating the interconnections of life on earth. It was a call for sustainable living, attempting to draw viewers’ attention to the state of the earth today. It premiered in Cincinnati in May 1996 and was performed to packed houses for two years in a row at the Worldfest celebrations of the University of Cincinnati.
