This cute little Maltese portrait is a laser print of the original artwork. It is printed on high quality, 72lb,acid free, paper and can be matted and framed to keep forever as a collectible piece of art.This drawing was done shortly after a member of my family bought a Maltese puppy. They are an affectionate and intelligent dog and can be very energetic. Apparently in Europe these dogs were used to chase and capture rodents due to their agility and speed. Quite amazing for such a little dog. Thanks so much for your interest and support.

My Bio:

I was born in Yorkshire, England and immigrated to Canada at the age of two. I lived in Quebec, Canada for fifteen years and it was here that I discovered a love of drawing. I presently live in Mission, British Columbia with my family and a variety of animals.

As an artist, I am self taught and having been a single Mom for many years, I used what was available to me to create a different style of art. Four mediums are used in the artwork: Ink, Pencil, Coloured Pencils, and Pastel. They are blended together to form a unique combination of colours and textures. One aspect of my drawings is my attention to detail, from the many colours of a blade of grass, to the emotion in the eyes of my subjects, be they real or fantasy. I take great pride in my artwork and I am pleased to offer you a sample of it in this print.
