Up for sale is a 50 foot section of Super Elastic Nickel Titanium wire, or called Super Elastic NiTi wire. With the above purchase price you will get 50 feet of Super Elastic Nickel Titanium (NiTi) wire. NiTi wire has many various uses. There is more than one kind of NiTi wire and there are definitely differences between them. Note*** This is NOT the SMA Shape Memory Alloy or Muscle wire or "heat activated nitinol wire", it's the Super Elastic nitinol wire.*** There ARE differences, so please know what you are buying. This wire is about the thickness of a small paper clip wire. (See my photos to see this size). The tag says the size is 0.710 mm diameter, which would convert to about 0.02795 inches diameter . This wire is what they call "Super-Elastic Nitinol wire". Super-Elastic wire can easily be bent, but it snaps back to a straight wire when you let go. It is made to be extremely difficult to "kink" with your bare hands. Please note: the big roll in the photo holds the actual NiTi wire for sale, but you won't get the whole big roll, you will get 50 feet off of that roll, which will ship in an orange 6" x 9" envelope. **
