A VERY RARE PERSONAL LETTER from MARY PICKFORD to LOUELLA PARSONS.

1 typed, signed, two page letter from Mary Pickford to Louella Parsons. Dated March 17, 1932 and written on The Sherry-Netherland, NY, NY letterhead, this letter is very interesting. Mary writes Louella asking for advice about a situation concerning "...Gene Dennis demanding $1000 for her services the night of the party for Douglas at Pickfair...". Mary is shocked and surprised at this demand, frightened of a law suit, and explains the situation in detail to Louella Parsons, "...Do hate to bother you, Lolly dear, but what do you think I should do? Have turned the whole matter over to my attorney, but thought I should consult with you before taking any further steps...". Signed Mary in black ink at the conclusion. Mary Pickford passed away May 29, 1979.
