55mm Multi-Position Rubber Lens Hood

Professional quality screw-in rubber lens hood. It's unique design means the hood can be popped into different positions depending on what focal length you are using. Push the hood all the way back for wide angle shots and pull it out for zoom and telephoto shots. Anti-reflective to reduce flare. This lens hood will screw onto any lens with a 55mm filter thread. Using a lens hood will greatly reduce the risk of flare and low contrast photos. The inside of the front of the hood also has a matching 55mm filter thread so there is no need to remove the hood when using filters or attaching your lens cap. Suitable for film, video and digital cameras.

"Is this hood suitable for my lens?"

Probably. This hood is designed to work on lenses with focal lengths between 15mm and 300mm on normal crop sensor DSLRs (e.g. Canon 550D, 60D, Nikon D90, D5000 etc). So, if you have a standard zoom such as 18-55mm, 18-150mm or 18-200mm etc this hood will work perfectly.

It will also work on lenses with focal lengths between 24mm and 400mm on film cameras and full frame DSLR cameras such as the Canon 5D and Nikon D700.
