The LNB Bracket for the Superdish

(3 Pictures Here)

To avoid confusion, like it says in the title, this listing is for the Best LNB BRACKET for the Superdish and doesn't include a dish nor LNBs. The primary picture shows the Superdish and LNBs to demonstrate the purpose of this bracket, the reason the bracket exists, and what it's used for. This listing is for the Super Daucer Bracket, all the hardware for mounting the LNBs and the Bracket, and the detailed instructions for mounting including pictures.

This LNBF Bracket will allow your Superdish to receive 8 satellites! Right now, your Superdish can only receive 2 satellites. So if you are interested in receiving signals from these 8 satellites, buying this bracket is equivalent to getting 6 more satellite dishes, without paying for 6 more satellite dishes!

It also saves you time and frustration, because you don't have to dish point for 6 more satellite dishes. It also saves you space and looks better than 6 more dishes.

With this curved bar bracket, you can not only receive:

Dish Network's 119 satellite and

Dish Network's 110 satellite

that a Superdish normally gets, but you can also receive:

Dish Network's 129,

Dish Network's 118 (by getting the appropriate LNB for 118 like the CB2008A LNB),

Directv's 101

Most of Intelsat AM5 97

Bell Express Vu's 91

Bell Express Vu's 82

All on one dish!

(Some of the above mentioned satellites do have a precious few FTA = Free To Air channels, that can be received by a FTA receiver legally without a subscription, but a subscription from the various companies, is required to legally view the vast majority of their encrypted programming.)  For 91 and 82, it may be that your location is too far south to get them, so check a satellite coverage map to get an idea what strengths you can expect.  101 is a Directv satellite, thus is incompatible with FTA technology, so do not buy an LNB for 101 unless you have a Directv receiver to connect 101 to.

Superdish Bracket Requirements:

The Superdish LNB Assembly, gets in the way of the other LNBs and bracket that are to be mounted, so the Superdish LNB Assembly needs to be unscrewed, removed, and not used. The bracket mounts on top of the end of the dish's arm.

Some dish pointing skill is required. The Superdish must be re-pointed once, so that the LNBs are aligned with the satellites. Most of the satellites are easy to aim at; line up one, the rest will already be aligned. The 97 satellite is a linear satellite of weak strength so more precise dish-pointing is required to get most of 97. Almost all of 97 can be gotten with a dish as small as the Superdish; however, not all of 97. 118.8 is a lower frequency satellite with less power than regular satellites so a little bit of dish pointing skill is required for this one also.

LNB Requirements:

97 is a linear satellite, so a linear LNB with a block shape for mounting to the bracket, will be required. They are sold by many sellers on Ebay. If you do a search for "linear LNB" on Ebay you will find some block shaped ones listed.

A Directv type square (block) shaped LNBs must be used in the 110 position, because of a mounting issue.

To get both the 119 satellite and the 118.8 satellite, a CB2008A LNB (or any other LNB on Ebay that has the block shaped mount and is advertised to work with 118.8 and 119) must be used in the 118.8 position, instead of a regular LNB, because this type of LNB gets the lower frequencies broadcast from 118.7 as well as the higher frequencies broadcast from 119.

Double wide Quad and Twin type LNBs have the wrong spacing for the Superdish and so will not work effectively with the Superdish; therefore, they are not designed to work with this bracket either.

This LNB Bracket is known as a "Daucer". It's flat and rounded like a saucer, but it holds LNBs not bowls; it goes on the dish; it's a dish saucer; I call it a "Daucer". (The design for the Daucer is currently not for sale. The Ebay User IDs: nottonullify and artisan-tec and audiosam6 are currently the only ones authorized to sell the Daucer for the Dish 500 and the Daucer for the DTV Phase 3 dish and the Daucer for the 18x24 inch dish and the Daucer for the DTV Slimline dish and the Daucer for the SuperDish. Please report to us any violators. Thank you.)

The Super Daucer is designed for the Superdish, so it will not work with smaller dishes like the Dish 500, the Phase III dish, nor the 18x24 inch dish.

If a Daucer is needed for the Dish 500, it is sold on Ebay from me nottonullify.

If a Daucer is needed for the Directv Phase III dish, or for the 18x24 inch dish, or for the Directv Slimline dish, those Daucers are on Ebay from me nottonullify.

If an item is not currently listed or is sold out, and you are interested in purchasing one, please contact me, so we can help you out.

The Super Daucer for the Superdish is a little more expensive because it requires thicker metal, longer metal, and more hardware.

This Super Daucer may work well with some large dishes if the dish has a similar focal length compared to the Superdish. The Superdish's focal length is 21.75 inches, between the middle of the dish and the white cap of the LNB. So, if the length between the middle of the dish and the white cap of the LNB is between 19.75 inches and 23.75 inches, it has a good shot at working.  Feel free to measure your dish to find out what chance it has with working with the Super Daucer. The mounting holes in the Super Daucer may not line up with your dish's mounting holes, so a minor hole adjustment may be needed.

Attention: there are other dishes out there that are now being called the "Superdish" or "Super Dish" but if they do not have the "SUPER dish Network" logo on them then you better check the focal length to make sure this Daucer you are purchasing is the right Daucer for your dish.  If it isn't, we probably have a compatible one, according to your dish's focal length.

Why is the Daucer the BEST Bracket for the Superdish:

1. Better Reception is the result of the curved bar design. Unlike all bar LNB brackets out there, my Daucer is curved, allowing the user to point the LNB towards the center of the dish, causing Better Reception over the straight bars sold elsewhere.

The curve also allows the LNBs to be in the "hotter spot" nearer to the dish.

2. Dish Network LNBs And Directv LNBs. The Daucer is the only LNB Bracket that allows the use of Directv LNBs (square shaped ends) and Dish Network LNBs (dome shaped ends)! Finally, you can use those Dish Network LNBs too! They mount securely. Dish Network LNBs can be mounted in the following positions: 82, 91, 101, 119, and 129 (the other 2 positions take block shaped LNBs circular or linear; see "LNB Requirements" above).

3. Superdish Design. No other bracket is truly designed for the Superdish. All the other bar LNB brackets being sold are the same bar design, and are not made for the Superdish.

4. Dish Equipment Remains Intact. Straight bar LNB brackets require you to drill holes right through your dish's arms and LNBs making it so that it can never again be used like it was designed for, destroying it. When mounting my Daucer, you don't destroy your dish.

5. No Buying Hardware For Mounting. You don't have to run to the hardware store to find and to buy the various nuts and bolts yourself because I supply you with all the hardware for mounting, unlike the straight bar bracket kits out there.

6. Better Shipping. I will box your Daucer instead of sticking it in a paper envelope and having it make a hole and falling out along the way to your house, as has happened to some who bought straight bar brackets.

7. Better Directions. I include simple, easier to follow, better directions, with a pictures page.

8. Private Listing. As a bidder, your identity remains anonymous, because this is a Private Listing. This is important to some people. The buyer's User ID will not appear in the listing nor in the listing's bid history.

9. Eight Satellites On A Single Dish. What other LNB bracket out there can get you Eight (8) satellites at the same time?!

97, 118, require 30" or larger dishes and here you can get two of them on one dish instead of two large dishes! This Superdish LNB bracket is second to none. This is the SUPER BRACKET for the Superdish!

This Daucer replaces 6 separate dishes, pointed at those particular satellites, with the Superdish you already own, but isn't it worth it, even if you replace or free up 1 or 2 dishes?

Thanks for looking.
