TRADITIONAL SCHOOL UNIFORM GYMSLIP SASH IN A RANGE OF COLOURS & LENGTHS
The gymslip sash is worn to help 'pull in' the gymslip at the waist. The sash colour usually represents the colours of the school or the house to which the girl belongs. The better quality sashes, including mine, are finished at each end with tassles. Please see the pictures to see how every sash I produce is actually finished.
Made from high quality, 100% wool, sash tape. They are available in a range of colours and lengths. They are exact copies of those that were worn at exclusive girls boarding schools right up to the early 1980s.
The width of each sash is 1.5" or just over 4cms.
