Excellent pair (two) Blue Mystic Quartz heart shaped faceted gemstones. The stones each measure 11mm by 11mm, are 6.8-7.8mm thick and are concave or diamond cut to a point on the back. Average weight of both gemstones combined is 9 carats. Eye appearance: clean.
The stones feature concave facets which has the amazing effect of creating a brilliant starburst of color. The mystic effect is achieved by using a natural clear quartz
gemstone with a permanent and durable coating applied to the backside
of the stone. Even though these stones show a variety of colors when turned in the light the most prevalent colors are blue and purple/pink.
You will receive two stones like the one shown in the sample photograph. These stones are not drilled. Item is new.
FYI: All Mystic Quartz sold on the market today is treated with a coating
to give it the fabulous colors you see. Even though the base Quartz
stone is naturally mined Mystic Quartz is never found naturally in
the ground this way.
