The NSPRD024-4NC damper is perfect for direct control from a thermostat or switch, since a one wire call on thermostat's Y or W outputs will cause the damper to open. On Zone control systems, you may set this damper to spring open, and power to close. This 2 wire damper is compatible with any 24vac zone control system.

CONTROLLING THE DAMPER:
THERMOSTAT: What you need to control this damper directly from a thermostat - from our ebay store damperdirect, order any of our Robertshaw RS series or Braeburn series thermostats thermostats (Robert Shaw item number 350432279298 is just one choice) and a 24vac plug in or hard wired transformer for power (plug in transformer is our most popular, item 350536105175). Use damper in current "Normally Closed" operation. Ask for a "slave zone diagram" and we will send the simple instructions on the hook-up.

ZONE CONTROL SYSTEM: What you need to control this damper for a zone control system -  convert damper to "Normally Open" (easy to do!) and use it - this damper is compatible with any 24vac zone control system - any brand! Many two wire spring return dampers cannot be converted from “normally closed" to “normally open".
