Description

The Reversible Bayonet-Screw Mount Petal Lens Hood is uniquely designed to protect against
unwanted stray light from entering the lens by extending and shading the end of the lens.
The screw thread of the lens hood is easily attached to the filter thread of the lens and can be reverse mounted
to reduce the space used when storing. The shade is made of rigid plastic which will also protect your lens from damage caused by shocks.

The main function of the lens hood is to shade the lens from stray light, improving your contrast and image quality. But
it will also protects the front barrel from the inevitable impacts against walls, door frames, and other real-life obstacles
and in inclement weather, it can assist in keeping moisture or wind-blown debris off the lens.

Installation:

* Rotate lock-ring to expose the thread's mounting thread
* Attach the hood with adapter by screwing it on the filter or lens thread
* Rotate lock-ring back to fix the hood on the thread
* The hood portion and mount it for use and reverse for storage
