Phalaris arundinacea 'Arctic Sun'

1 Litre pot

A beautiful, semi-evergreen, brightly coloured grass. It produces very attractive gold-striped green leaves that are upright to arching in their habit. Narrow panicles of yellow spiklets appear in early to mid-summer.

Weave through other grasses and perennials for a natural effect in a mixed border. They contrast particularly well with more rigid perennials and are also suitable for containers.

They tolerate most soil conditions but will thrive well in a moist, well drained, moderately fertile soil.

When left for winter effect they should be cut back to ground level by the spring.
