This bit will fit the proprietary oval head security screws in the Essenza C90, C91, C100, C101, D90, D100, D101, D290, D300, E350, ES80, Delonghi EN95, Magimix M250, Krups XN2001, XN2008, XN2105, XN2120, XN5005, Starbucks Verismo and all other models that use the Nespresso capsule system. If your machine does not use capsules, please contact us to check if the tool will fit. This bit fits the oval head screws in ALL NESPRESSO machines that use coffee capsules (Nespresso Pods). That said, beware that some machine models use Torx star shaped screws and this special oval head tool will not work! If your machine has star shaped screws, search for "Torx Security Bit" on eBay, or pick up a set at your local Harbor Freight store part #68459. If your machine is a 8/10/12-cup carafe (drip filter machine) this tool will not fit since these machines use a bigger size oval head screw.

NO awkward turn bar that scratches the finish or gets in the way on machines with tight access like the Z-series. The key ring moves freely and can easily be removed so that you can use a regular 1/4" driver handle for access in the tightest places.
DURABLE! The tool is precision machined from 303 Stainless Steel. It will not rust or stain,and there's no plating that can flake. Stainless steel is stronger and more durable than regular carbon steel, which often requires plating to achieve sufficient strength.
STANDARD 1/4" (6.35mm) bit. US standard dimension for perfect fit in a standard 1/4" bit driver. We use US standard 1/4" hex stock and not European 6.00mm hex stock.
Precision Fit! The tool fits oval head bolts with a head size of approximately 3.9x3.3mm. It's worth noting that the head size varies slightly between espresso maker production batches and models. Throughout the years we have perfected the size to ensure that the tool will work for most machines. If you run into a situation were the tool does not grab the screw head, no problem! Quality Control TESTED! Every tool sold by us has been manually and individually tested to a reference screw and is guaranteed to have the correct reference size. Unfortunately this does not guarantee that the screws in your machine are the expected size due to variations between production batches and the simple fact that the screw heads definitely are not precision manufactured. This listing is for a precision bit that will open the special oval head bolts used in Nespresso machines by various manufacturers (Jura, Krups, Delonghi, AEG, Siemens, Magimix and others). The bit can be used as-is as a hand tool, or you can use it with any 1/4" bit driver by removing the ring.
ATTENTION KRUPS OWNERS: This tool fits Krups Nespresso machines. It does NOT fit any 8/10/12-cup carafe drip filter coffee maker we know of. Specifically it does NOT fit the oval head screws with 5.8x4.8mm head used in the Krups Coffee Aroma Plus 12 Cup Coffee Maker model 134B. The Krups XN250 has Torx security screws and you need a Torx TR10 bit. Let me repeat what's already said above: If your machine uses Nespresso capsules, and the machine has oval-head screws, the tool most likely will fit.
ATTENTION DELONGHI OWNERS: Some Delonghi models use Torx Security screws (star shaped screw with a tiny pin in the center). If this is the case, search for "Torx Security Bit" on eBay, or pick up a set at your local Harbor Freight store part #68459.
