Please read carefully and check with the pictures in the header pictures.

Thanks for looking. This is made from laser cut 1.5mm Stainless Steel. It has been slotted to make it easier to fit.
It gives a cleaner pick up at lower revs because it restricts exhaust gas being recycled. The engine management light should not come on because of restricting the EGR. Fully blocking the EGR on these does not normally put the EML on, but has done on the odd can, hence the plate with the hole in. I list it as a full blocking plate - item number 121605863156

PLEASE CHECK THAT IT IS THE ENGINE IN THE PICTURES, as the earlier DW10BTED4 engine has a very different EGR system which is fitted to the rear of the engine and the oil filler cap is on the right of the engine, not on the left as pictured. I have item number 110907922480 and others for that engine. The EGR valve is located under the inlet manifold on the front of the engine. The only part visible, is the hot cold vacuum unit.

This fits The Euro5 PSA  DW10CTED4 2.0L (not DW10BTED4) 16 valve 1997cc engine only ( known as Duratorq in Fords) Pictured in the header pictured.

I now have the Euro 6 listed- item number121892830456 and 121892842394.
Euro 4 PSA DW10BTED4 engine (ITEM NUMBER 111437402852), Euro 3 or 4 Ford Puma engine ( item number 110903465359).

Benefits of Restricting EGR

   1.  Cleaner engine oil helping to give longer engine life.

   2.  Turbo spooling up quicker, and at lower revs

   3.  Lessons soot build up in intake manifold, and valve's, which will lower the power

   4.  Smoother drive

   5.  DPF/FAP regenerates less as there is less soot to trap

All plates are designed and researched be me in house over many years. I do not buy or have ever brought from other seller (most sellers are just engineering firms that have brought from each other-along with the repeated mistakes, or Chinese drop shops),
and have no idea about car engines, fault codes, and what can be causing them. I have been a mechanic for many years, and my number 4 son is also a trained mechanic of some years, and now working at Porsche..
