Suitable for use in jewellery work, armature building, and general model making using clays or plasticine.

Our aluminium wires start with the fine 0.56mm gauge and go up to the  robust 4.5mm. Soft and easy to work with even the 2mm wire can be easily cut with a pair of scissors and the 4.5mm best cut with snips.

Where greater strength / load bearing and rigidity is required such as larger model making with clays etc. we have galvanised steel wire in 1.2mm 1.6mm and 2mm gauges. These wires offer considerably more strength than the aluminium (the 1.6mm galvanised is for example about as strong as the 3.25mm aluminium) but are harder to form and require wire cutters.
