Please check carefully that this is the correct plate and fitment with the pictures above
Thanks for looking.
This restrictor plate is made from 1.5 mm Laser cut 304 Stainless Steel (Inox).
It has been rumbled to make it smooth and give it an abraded surface to get a better seal. It fits between the EGR valve housing, and the tube that goes to the inlet manifold (pictured below). The EGR housing is on the gear box end of the engine, and the inlet manifold is on the rear of the engine.
This plate has a hole to restrict the exhaust gasses but not block it completely, as blocking it fully will put the engine management light on. I also list it without a hole in, item number 111166233118
Fits Euro 5 in:
Alfa Romao 1.6 JTDM
2.0 JTDM
Fiat 1.6 JDTM
Lancia 1.6 JTDM
1.9 JTDM
2.0 JDTM
(Will not fit the older Euro 3 or Euro 4 1.9 engines, item number 10990872851 for them)
Any questions please ask
Benefits of blocking EGR:
1. Cleaner engine oil helping to give longer engine life.
2. Turbo spooling up quicker, and at lower revs
3. Prevents soot build up in intake manifold, and valve's, which will lower the power
4. Smoother drive and quite often better economy
5. Engine produces less soot, so the DPF stays cleaner for longer, so fewer regenerations and longer life
Guaranteed next day has to be paid before 3.00pm, or it will be sent the next day. Friday's sending arrives on Monday.
All
plates are designed and researched by me in house over many years. I do
not buy or have ever brought from other seller (most sellers are just
engineering firms that have brought from each other-along with the
repeated mistakes or Chinese drop shops), and have no idea about car
engines, fault codes, and what can be causing them. I have been a
mechanic for many years, and my number 4 son is also a trained mechanic
of some years.
