Updike Programming presents Volume 3 of Custom programmed sounds for the Kurzweil K2000/K2500/K2600 series of synths.
This is Volume 3 in a series of custom programs
A note from Updike Programming:
This is a new item with pocket case containing Professional and quality programs for the Kurzweil K2 series keyboards. This Volume contains many layered as well as analog "like" sounds. We performed careful editing so that each sound is usable as well as interesting. Unlike many factory, as well as most aftermarket patches that seem to be done in a hurry and end up with a sort of "cheap" sound, these are designed to get the most out of a single keyboard. This is the more synth heavy disk of the 3 issued so far although I added some new keyboard sounds as well to add variety. All programs were created during the fall of 2013.
Notes on programs......
"Siberian Bells" is an emulation of the Korg Oasys patch of the same name.
"Cold Ice" is a Larry Fast sound I heard live with Foreigner (replaced piano on Cold As Ice)
"UK Analog" is an Eddie Jobson sound (In the Dead of Night)
"The Doors" is organ patch with effect settings to emulate classic Doors sound
"SynthScape" sounds are of a creative analog "like" synth sound
"MidiStage" sounds reflect the types of sounds from M1 combis, layered DX7's but do not copy any particular patch.
"Fairscapes" is based on what you can get with the Fairlight (used by Zappa/Gabriel)
"Santerre Bass" based on Fender P Bass fusion/jazz/rock sound
