These super-absorbent crystals will absorb many times their own weight in water. In fact, one pound of these crystals will absorb 8 gallons of water - That's over 66 pounds!
The crystals appear off white when dry, but become clear and nearly invisible when completely saturated with water. Food coloring can be added to the water before adding the crystals to create a range of colored crystals well suited to decorations and displays.
Crystals reach full saturation in about 2 hours.
