Thanks for looking.
This is a laser cut blanking plate, made from 1.5mm 304 stainless steel. It has a hole to prevent the EML coming on. Note, the EGR dos need to be working correctly. It is slotted so that it can be fitted easily. It has been rumbled to make it smooth and give it an abraded surface that gives a better seal, plus removes all sharp edges (so no cutting of the fingers).
It gives a cleaner pickup at lower revs because it lowers the amount of exhaust gas being recycled. If the EGR valve is playing up, or the EGR valve has been mapped out of the ECU, then it is best to have a plate without a hole, which I have listed- item number 121352699423.
THIS FITS: 2.0L TDI CR (Common Rail) engine in VW, Audi, Seat, Skoda
Engine Codes CAGA, CAGB, CAGC, CAHA, CBAB, CBDC , CABB, CADB, CABC, CBEA, CEGA, CJAA, CLJA
These will not fit the 2.0L TDi CR 2 generation common rail (CR) engines, or any other size CR engine Item number 111382918865 for them.
I have them listed- item number 121352719801 and 111382945793 with the hole in.
Benefits of blocking EGR
1. Cleaner engine oil helping to give longer engine life.
2. Turbo spooling up quicker, and at lower revs
3. Helps prevents soot build up in intake
manifold, and valve's, which will lower the power
4. Smoother drive and quite often better economy
5. Will help to pass the MOT, as it is tested on the smoke output (UK)
6. Help to keep the DPF cleaner for longer, so less re-gen
It can not be guaranteed not to put on the EML, as there are many factors that can contribute to a problem, like a crack in the boost inter-cooler or split in the hoses for instance

plates are designed and researched by me in house over many years. I do
not buy or have ever brought from other seller (most sellers are just
engineering firms that have brought from each other-along with the
repeated mistakes or Chinese drop shops), and have no idea about car
engines, fault codes, and what can be causing them. I have been a
mechanic for many years, and my number 4 son is also a trained mechanic
of some years.
