British Army Tropical Pith Helmet

Description

Reproduction of the tropical British Army Foreign Service Pith Helmet, used in the 19th Century.

The British Tropical Pith Helmet was used by troops during the Anglo Zulu War and other Conflicts of the era. The helmet offered protection in the sun or against light rainfall. They originated in Vietnam, which is where our great reproductions are made.

The body of the helmet is made from pith, which is covered with a khaki coloured cloth. They are also vented at the top, to help keep yourself cool. They also have a chin strap for a comfortable fit. They have an adjustable headband, and fit a max head size of 60cm.

Great quality reproduction British Tropical Pith Hats, ideal for collectors or costume parties.
