Hello again from MusicanAtHeart.  We are happy to offer our Fret End triangular smoothing file.  Once a new fret is installed, nipped slightly long and beveled at each end, it's time to shape and smooth it.  Our Fret End File is ideal for this.  

Made by the Grobet file company of Switzerland, it measures 5" long and 3/16" wide on each side.  An optimum size for all fret work.  We grind all three corner edges smooth in our shop.  This lets you file the fret end without the danger of marring the fingerboard.  Fine grit for gentle yet consistent material removal.  When using, we recommend that you tape off the finger board to be extra safe!
