Large Artist Proof (Unsigned) of Rafal Oblinski's "Nostalgia in Slow Motion".  Print is in excellent condition, there is one small area of neutral color in the blue area of the print, could be inherent or a flaw.  Please see pictures to verify condition

This proof was purchased at an auction of S2/Jack Gallery artwork.

S2/Jack Gallery is known for their lithograph production, at the heart of which is five extremely rare, made-in-Paris Marinoni Voirin editioning presses.
Originally powered by steam and later converted to electricity, these gorgeous flatbed presses are the same machines used in the legendary 19th and early 20th Century ateliers of Paris to produce original works of lithographic multiple fine art by great masters such as Alphonse Mucha, Henri Toulouse-Lautrec, Pablo Picasso, Marc Chagall, Joan Miró, Henri Mattisse, Alexander Calder and many more. But, their value goes far beyond novelty or nostalgia: like the unequalled sound of a centuries-old Stradivarius violin, the breathtaking quality produced by these historic presses is unmatched by any of today’s reproduction technology.

A catalog of the S2 Gallery auction can be shipped or emailed to you upon request.
